"For me, Opal Transfer is somehow a place where magic happens: it's not only about money transfers, but also about connecting to your loved ones. I’ve been working for Opal Transfer since 2006. I started working as a cashier at the Opal till – this was the place where I met so many customers and listened to their everyday life’s stories, and also the place where I came across the story of my life.

Because here, at OpaI Transfer, I met my husband. He was a loyal customer who had settled in London from Uzbekistan and who would regularly send money home. I was a young Polish woman looking for a new better life in the UK. It all happened 12 years ago, and since then we’ve been happily together and have two kids, half Polish, half Uzbek. Obviously, my partner has been even a more loyal Opal Transfer customer since then!"
